SEVEN. A "smack you in the face didn't see that coming" ending. Even better than The Sixth Sense.
Shame that M Night Shyamalam started on such a high because "The Happening" is an absolute pile of garbage from beginning to end.

A tough question as there has been so many over the years. I enjoyed several old ones such as "Casablanca" "The Big Sleep" and one funny one "Some Like It Hot" with that wonderful Joe E Brown grin which I shall never forget.

The Game --with Micheal Douglas was indeed an unexpectedly great story and the end did not dissapoint.
For a happy ending --Raising Arizona by the Coens.

well the ending of twelve angry men is right up there with the best of them. for anyone who hasnt seen the henry fonda classic, dont miss it, buy it or rent it. the ending where fonda looks back into that jury room before leaving, always makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand. the whole atmoshere of the 12 guys in a humid, stuffy court room where they cant get the fan to work, is brill. though i have never been a fan of fonda, he is superb in this sidney lumet movie.

Arlington Road, 1999. Fantastic plot that has you shouting at the screen as you realise that Faraday (Jeff Bridges) has been right all along, but it is he who ends up the killer, brilliant!

The most "Romantic" ending to a film just has to be" Officer and a Gentleman"when Richard Gere lifted Debra Winger.....WoW.

The game--Michael douglas jumps off the building thinking he has killed his brother only to realise it's his party!

Your joking right? If memory serves me: Charlie Chaplin's "City Lights" has probably the greatest movie ending ever put on film. Hands down. For all time.
