I old now but i remember when this county was great, my dad used to tell me it was the best country in the world i was a teenager when we won the cup,my locol football team was millwall, if i supported a team it would be millwall because i live in the area, people live here and support chelsea i don t get it. The country is letting to many people into this country stop now, im the only white person on my block people from other countries want to keep to their own kind. I m glad i lived my teenage years in the sixtys i would not like to be young in this day and age

I am an immigrant and have lived in the UK for around 25 years. I came to the UK and I HAD to intergrate within the British culture on my own. I HAD to learn English, the culture, beliefs, and enjoyed how secular the UK was.
The final straw was when a muslim colleague asked me to take my cross off as she felt offended by it. When I told her it was my belief she sais that I was a racist. Now, how can you have an educated debate with some one who is so ignorant.
NOW, I have decided to leave the UK and live in a country that has strong cultural and heritage beliefs. Where I do not have to watch what I am saying without fear of 'offending' someone else. Where freedom is treasured and respected.
I just hope that in 10 years time when it will be too late for the UK I sense that civil war will break out.
A very sad time for humanity.

What the hell are people of this country complaining about? They travelled all over the world taking people captive, enslaving them and stealing their money to build what they call 'Great Britain'. Have they forgotten the horrible treament their forefathers gave to millions of people some years back in Africa, Asia, to mention but a few? Have they forgotten the Gold, Diamond, Bauxite and other minerals they stole from many developing countries just to build this so called 'Great Britain'?. as far as am concern i do not see anything wrong with the footballer's having work permit, in the sense that he deserve to have a work permit as a foreing footballer base in UK . The scenario sorrounding his application is what gives me concern. Rather than granting him workpermit the Home Office caseworker of his Solicitor suppose to have advise him to put in for Asylum if his life is under constant threat back home.

not all immigranta re genuine workers i know alot who are the biggest con men i have ever known. they have flats that they dont live in and charge others to live there. they they cant walk all week then after 5 at night and weekends can walk run better than me . have bandage up arms when they sign on do decorateing away from home all week . have good cars live a live of luxury and agencese give asylum seeks best jobs instead of english as they get back handers . a girl in agenices told me that so come on who as the wool pulled over there eyes .immigrants contribute nothing thats why they have travelled half way around the world for a good long holiday .

I can not understand why on earth this government can try and get away with another 'George Orwell' way of charging us for trying to either earn a living or simply enjoy our pitiful excistance in this big brother country. There are other ways in which we can cut down road usage and less emissions, by ensuring that companies use the car pool system rather than let one person travel to work then they share cars, they do this in the states to great effect and even schools should insist they do this. This goverment are just simply tring to charge more tax thats what labour governments do, they have to, we need a change to Torrie polictics for a couple of terms, then back again, its the only way as a country we stay on an even balance untill we find a common sense government who actually try and serve the people of this country.

i think immigration should stop, also giving foreigners benefits who have kids in any other country than our own is stupid and wrong. They are not entitled to some thing they havent put in towards.Whats wrong the morons of Government. this new road pricing policy is fantastic for a driver like me. i only drive around my small town, i don't use motorways, i don't travel to london but i do pay the same tax as someone who does!!! this new tax scheme will mean that u only pay for what u use if u don't use a particular motorway then you don't pay for it sounds bloody good to me. i don't know what your all moaning about!!!

This country is getting out of hand. I was born in 1973 into an average working class family who like many others have had to struggle to make ends meet. I have been in full time work since i was 15 as my family could not afford to survive without help. I pay my taxes and feel like every penny i pay to this government is used for the importation of immigrants. The crime in the area i live in (Barking,essex) is unbelievable and it mostly seems to be immigrants. We are now the minority in this country and everybody i know is getting fed up with it. This country is at bursting point and if something is not done soon we will explode.

I do believe that the government has got the taxation system all wrong!!!! Well, we are told that we have the best justice system in the world, but when our system is being tempered by decisions from the EU you know that danger is upon us and its happening. I do have a question for our government, with all the immigrants they have allowed in to our country, with no checks against criminals and foreiners who want to destroy us, yet they want want our housing and state benefits and all the other hand outs. Who's going to fill the coffers again, the sap's who go to work. Some of these people have been placed in government positions in jobs like immigration and abused them, why because our soft government and the bloody do gooders have to look good and have the proverbial foreiner in some position in any business. I look forward to the next election and the shock on the faces of our so called labour and tory parties when UKIP, and the BNP win lots more seats. We need a government who will protect our country. Not the leeches we have in parliment at the moment.

I am so tired of this goverment hiding the truth from us, and even when joe public does find out this goverment ignores them,since the signing of the Human rights act we have been taken for a ride by every possible do gooder groups going.
When are people going to wake up to the fact that this country does not have a bottom less pit full of cash to dish out to all and sundry regardless of if they have contributed or not.we should adopt the same principle as Ausse and that is no benifits untill after a set number of years contibuting into the fund.

I am appalled at the state of this country, the influx of immigrants, working for a low wage, paying low wage taxes then sending the money home to where they come from to fund the family in the homeland, the money they earn is not staying in the economy over here, its shipped abroad to fund their families for a better life over there, as soon as they have bled us dry of our economy they will go home and live like kings.
I hear that when they come over here, they go to the citizens advise bureau and see how much or how little they can earn so they can still collect all the benefits, so yes they are earning low wages, but this is being topped up by benefits, so they are earning what a hard working 40 hours a week person is, but the 40 hour a week person is nt bleeding the country dry at the same time.
I heard this from a retired employer at the C.A.B, she said is ashamed to be in this country now, as its all layabouts, spongers and sroungers and immigrants, the hard working person, of both sexes are getting penalised for working, it seems your better off financially to sit at home, fake an illness and get beneifts, I would love to be able to afford the emmigrate, but being self employed, taxes, high fuel prices etc is keeping me from leaving as i cant save quick enough to be able to go, cost of living is as high as the earnings are or in some cases higher, so its not possible to save, i just seem to be going to work to pay a bill or to buy food, I am sure i am not the only one........

I note that most people are on here moaning about the immigrants. Whilst I think that there certainly is an argument to close the open door and look at repatriation, I think that we have to look a little bit more in to the problem.
If those who are on here spouting "get rid of the immigrants" would take a look around, I bet that they know someone on Incapacity Benefit who really there is nothing wrong with them. If these people would get their fingers out of their backsides and start to tell the truth, and get a job maybe this Country would not need the levels of immigration which it has seen in the last few years.
These immigrants come here to work, and then see that there is a better life for them sponging from the state like the indigonious population.
So really where the immigrant next door, or in the next street is getting a fortune on benefits, look at the British person next to them because it is their fault. All the immigrant has done is copy what they see when they get here.
So on behalf of all the decent hard working, non-benefit scrounging people of Britain, why don't the lot of you get off your backsides and get jobs.. because there is nothing wrong with you.
