Chelsea star is top target for PSG

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN are refusing to give up their pursuit of unsettled Chelsea star Claude Makelele.
The Blues are desperate for the 35-year-old to stay and have offered him a one-year extension to his £70,000-a-week deal.
But Makelele — who will become a free agent at the end of next season — is stalling over the offer as he would prefer a longer deal.
And PSG boss Paul Le Guen, who held more talks with Makelele last week, reckons a two-year offer could persuade him to uproot.
He said: “I have spoken again to the player to tell him that, like last year, we have the intention to make him come to Paris.”
There's only one Makelele! As a Chelsea Fan, I'll be sad to see Claude leave. He's one player that gives his all whenever, wherever and whoever he plays for. There's no self-preservation in his dictionary.

Claude has been a good servant for CFC, very rarely has he been sidelined due to injury, has given his all, and for me,he is the unsung hero. Chelsea should reward him with another year, and then in some other capacity to work with the Academy.
