SORRY GRETNA ARE SO FRAIL

STEVE FRAIL will take no pleasure in delivering the last rites to Gretna on Tuesday.

The Hearts boss is well aware that the midweek game could be Gretna's last.

The Jambos shared in Gretna's greatest day in the 2006 Scottish Cup Final which the Edinburgh side won on penalties.

Frail, above, said: "The situation at Gretna is very sad. I don't know all the ins and outs, but it's a sad situation if it does turn out to be their last game.

"A lot of people have worked hard to give them success and that's what they got.

"Two years ago they were in the Scottish Cup Final against us and it was a great day.

"They nearly nicked the Cup from us and going on their performance that day alone it would have been deserved.

"They've since come into the SPL but it just hasn't worked for them. It will be a sad day for them, but my concentration will be on Hearts and what we do on Tuesday."
