The Blues boss is full of admiration for his side after they clinched a place in the Champions League final for the first time.
CBut he says the challenge now is to take Chelsea to 'another level'. Grant said: "April 30 is a historic day for Chelsea so you can't say to the players: ‘You did not achieve anything.'
"You tell them: ‘You did a great job but you can go on now and make even bigger history. Together we can put this club on another level because you can see how on the pitch they give everything for the club."
But modest Grant was reluctant to talk about his own part in the club's achievements.
Admire
He explained: "My mother died 11 years ago and my father is still alive and they taught me that in every profession you need to do your job and not speak about your job so much."
But he says people should not make judgments just because he's quiet and considered in his work.
He said: "I have a feeling that whoever is shouting more is respected more here. But I admire people who are thinkers."
Grant told approached the task of winning over the players after succeeding the immensely popular Jose Mourinho. He added: "I was patient. I wouldn't form an opinion after just one month, I wanted to check on the players for a long time.
"Over time I brought in many things: staff, training, behaviour, tactics. Football is more simple than people think.
Abram..You got impressive now.
In Thailand, we always like the weak one and then become the winner, later.
