Anfield legend demands peace in the boardroom
CARRAGHER: STOP THE ROWS
By ANDY DUNN and CHRIS BASCOMBE
JAMIE CARRAGHER has demanded an end to the public boardroom battles which have undermined Liverpool's campaign.
Carragher and his Anfield team-mates have been bemused and frustrated by the rows between Tom Hicks and George Gillett that have constantly taken the gloss off the season.
There is resentment among the players that so often their successes have been lost amid the Americans' slanging match.

Carragher said: "It's important we get everything sorted concerning ownership and plans for the future. The best clubs are the ones where you don't hear about things going on behind the scenes.
"That was always how Liverpool was run and that's what we want to get back to next season with people talking only about the football.
"It's important the football is the main thing at any club and that's what the supporters want, too. They want to hear from the players and the manager and no-one else."
Liverpool's shambolic off-field campaign has taken another turn for the worse after it emerged there will no end-of-season board meeting.
Carnage
The warring owners have failed to set a date to discuss the implications of the Champions League exit, Premier League performance and new signings.
Board members aren't even communicating with each other, let alone prepared to meet face-to-face, leaving club officials and Rafa Benitez in limbo as he tries to plan ahead for next season.
This highlights the levels of disarray at Anfield.
Prior to the fall-out between Hicks and Gillett, it was decided the direction of the club and position of the manager would be assessed following the final league game at Spurs next weekend. Such talks have now been cancelled.
But one well-placed Anfield source said: "I'd prefer the option of having carnage now and getting everything sorted as quickly as possible."
Prospective owners Dubai International Capital also want to undertake their own review of the team's performance, including the position of the manager, once they're in control of the club.
everything will be settled by the end of may. hicks will not get the money to buy gillett, dic moves in calls a board meeting, issues more shares, again hicks cannot afford, board approves new ground, with money raised.
dic, hopefully, tosses moore and parry out, as they are the ones that put us into this usa mess. buy barry, micha, sell at least 4 players, dump voronin, kewall, my pub team has better players then them. rafa has 1 more season to win title.
