England chief sees David lose his cool in Texas
BECKHAM BUST-UP
DAVID BECKHAM was involved in an angry row in front of watching England coach Franco Baldini as he returned to action on Saturday night.
England boss Fabio Capello's right-hand man travelled to Texas to see Beckham play the full 90 minutes for LA Galaxy in a dull 0-0 pre-season friendly against FC Dallas.
Beckham, 32, did not manage a shot on goal but got booked for dissent after 87 minutes. As he picked up the yellow card, he got involved in a shouting match with Dallas players Andre Rocha and Marcelo Saragosa before being pulled away by Galaxy team-mates.
Beckham attracted huge attention from the 20,500 sellout crowd, with flashbulbs popping every time he went to take corner or a free kick.
England general manager Baldini will now report back to Capello on whether the former captain should be in the squad for the friendly against France on March 26.
Beckham has 99 caps for England, but was not recalled for Capello's first game as England's national coach against Switzerland last month.

I am from la living in London. I think thst he was the biggest waste of monay and he if he wants to lay for england then stay here do not fly backwards and forwards it just makes him even more useless

Dull as Ditchwater David is a real winner don't you think?
What on earth possessed LA Galaxy to pay for this has been?

Clearly you dont appreciate football! You dont call it by the right name, you dont have a proper league, you produce players with ginger beards but as usual you all have an opinion. Be lucky you have Beckham - have you ever seen the Djemba brothers Live???

Football would not get the attention it gets in North America and other countries but for who the fans choose to support. Beckham if anything has sparked an interest for whatever reason you may choose. Leave him be, let him play and good for him, Football is world renown

Beckham's well over the hill. His main preoccupation on the pitch is not getting involved in anything physical in case he gets hurt. Contrast him with the world's best players such as Rooney. Turning the ball, his only attribute, is only a small part of the requirements of being a great footballer. The Yanks were conned and should have noted Beckham's downward slide whilst he played for the Spanish team.
Off the field, Beckham's an amazing guy for sticking with that dreadfull publicity-seeking wife of his.

david beckam is a asset that any team would love to have, The trouble is because he is not preforming his best at the moment people slag him off but when he is on form they love him. Give the man a break LA
Your making as much money out of him as your paying.
P.S. You can always send him home im sure any of the top four will be glad to have him.

Did anyone see the goals that David created in the penultimate England match? He still has the class and has always had the fire and passion in his play. Just because he has a bad patch (he had the same in Spain but came back to win the cup for them) the press go mental but history will show his class and skill to be on par with the best.

As much as I hate to think that Beckham will no longer be a fixture in the England set up, you have to respect Cappello for the courange he shows in the squad he picks. As much as I think sentiment still exsists in football, if Cappello continues to pick players in form, I can;t see any future for Beckham after his 100th cap. Thanks for the good times Becks!

Beckham is rubbish and has been for years. The goal against Greece was a long, long time ago. He's done nothing to warrant inclusion in Capello's England squad. Beckham won nothing with England in his 99 appearances. It's time to find new options and leave Beckham where he belongs- in the past.

David Beckham is so full of himself, just like his wife. He should retire from football, and along with his wife they could live very comfortabley doing exclusive interviews for Hello and Ok.

What a joke. Sending some-one to watch Beckham in the States to see if he was fit to play for England again He didnt even impress playing among minor leaguers. Thats like scouting the amateurs leagues for International duty. Its an insult to all the hard working players within our Premier League to even consider him. At least you will get a hundred percent effort from them not just strolling around and taking corner kicks. I say put him and his skinny wife with her built up bra on a slow boat to China and forget about them once and for all.

how can any one call david beckham rubbish when he is the most successful footballer of all time, if he was rubbish he wouldn't be as successful as he is. He's won the champioins leauge, several premiership titles, F.A cups, spanish La Liga so how is he rubbish. His attitude when he represents England is extraudinary, he puts 100% in every game unlike Frank Lampard and others in the team, at least he wants to play for England and is proud of where he is from. Would you turn down the opportunity of living in america and making money? no i didn't think so and why are all americans moaning that he's a waste of money, when he plays for you your earning your money back and more. Leave him alone and let him play football, which he was born to do.

I think Beckham will be very fortunate to get his 100th cap. He was/is a very very good player but not up there with the greatest players. Like him or not, he seems to work hard in most games, he tracks back in defence and delivers as good a cross as any player you could name. He is also one of, if not the most lethal free-kick takers in world football. If you had a free kick just outside the box with seconds left with the scores locked at 1-1 and you needed to win the game to win the league, which player in the world would you like to take that free kick above all others ? I would guess the majority of people would take Beckham over anyone. So just for that he deserves lots of credit. I don't like Posh either but that has nothing to do with what sort of player Becks is. You yanks should be happy with having him in your league, if you don't want him he can always come an play in Australia, any one of the clubs would love to have him and we wouldn't turn on him either. But I think Becks made a big mistake going to the Uncle Sam League, he would certainly be regretting it now, playing wise, but his career is nearly over, 3 seasons left maybe. Give him a break people, he is/was a very very good football player and should be remembered as such. And I'm a Gooner !!!

Well I love the fella myself. I think when he sprained his leg it really set him back.
I have lived in England over the years and been a pub manager with an english boyfriend. We met them all and had the crowds for the playoffs. It is a ceremony, that we Americans will never understand until we live in their culture. The only way I can relate to you Americans who are writing all that trash about Mr and Mrs Beckham is this. The only time I have ever seen any American get behind anything in comparison to the way folks from the UK do about their footballers, would be when THE WHO played and people were stomped. Chew on that and Bollocks to yah all.

I think that Beckham won't get his 100th cap for England. These days football is about skill and pace and Beckham doesnt have these quality's to the present day. If England qualafied for euro 2008 he could have been defending against people like Robben. Also his social life will ruin it - 99% blame has to go to Victoria!

It's funny people bash Beckham all the time.....but there is not a national team that would not love him in there squad. Typical England fans love you when you are doing good for the team but as soon as you mess up they are all over you....in my opinion not true fans.
And he maybe 32 but there is no one better than him at those world class crosses or the dead ball.
