But 'Leatherheads, the latest directorial effort by George Clooney, even manages to go down hill from there.

In trying to emulate those big budget super slick US TV shows, 'Vantage Point' is at an immediate disadvantage.
Shows like '24', 'The Sopranos', & 'The Kill Point' have the luxury of a whole series to flesh out characters and tease with plots.
This movie has to do it all in a couple of hours & sadly it shows.
Arnie in Kindergarten Cop? Wooden
Van Diesel in The Pacifier? Excruciating
Murphy in Daddy Day Care? Just plain embarrassing.

I don't know what it says about me, but I thought a musical about a manic depressive barber slicing unsuspecting customers throats (before having them served up in delicious pies) might be a bit of a laugh.
I couldn't have been more wrong.

But a singalong, laugh a minute black comedy it ain't.
