Kurt's ashes stolen

THE music world was In Bloom-in' shock last night after hearing that the ashes of grunge god KURT COBAIN have been PINCHED!
I can also reveal that the wife of the NIRVANA legend, COURTNEY LOVE, is said to be "suicidal" after finding Kurt's remains missing from her Hollywood home.

She had kept the singer's ashes in a pink teddy-bear-shaped bag along with a lock of his hair.
But a couple of weeks ago, she was horrified to discover them gone, along with thousands of pounds worth of clothes and jewellery.
Courtney said: "I can't believe anyone would take Kurt's ashes from me.
"I find it disgusting and right now I'm suicidal.
"If I don't get them back I don't know what I'll do." The sad news will sicken the millions of Cobain and Nirvana fans worldwide.
Kurt, DAVE GROHL and KRIST NOVOSELIC mesmerised the music world in the 90s with hits like In Bloom and Smells Like Teen Spirit.
The band has sold more than 62 million albums worldwide, with classic album Nevermind selling more than ten million copies alone—it's still regarded by critics as one of the greatest albums ever made.
But in 1994, tragedy struck when Kurt killed himself with a shotgun while high on heroin. Some of his ashes were scattered in a Buddhist temple in New York, others were scattered in the Wishkah River near his home in Washington State, and the rest remained with Courtney...until recently, that is.
She said: "They were all I had left of my husband. I used to take them everywhere with me just so I could feel Kurt was still with me.

Report commentWhy does it matter to people that they hold onto memories through some abstract notion that some ***** named Courtney carries Kurt's remaining ashes in a "pink teddy-bear-shaped bag?" Is the music not more permanent enough for some to just accept his leave of eternal absence in '94. His goal in life wasn't to be remembered through his ashes... it was the music I would presume.

Report commentamanda... if he was JUST high on heroin he could have turned a gun on himself, however... he had 3x the lethal dose of heroin in his system and the gun was too long for him to shoot it himself, unless he pulled the trigger with his toe, but his shoes were on so i cant see that happening.

Offensive? Report commentThe tragedy is what it is. What bothers me is the large mass of people who think they know anything about what really happened. On paper, it was suicide, therefore the article can and in fact is expected to report it as such. He may have done it himself or not. None of you were there, you can't possibly know the details. You are all entitled to your opinion of what happened. I do find it funny how no one bothers to mention the fact that he attempted suicide not a month previous to his own death. It could be that he paid someone to pull the trigger and run.
Also, I'd be willing to bet a months worth in pay that you "Amanda" are not speaking from any real experience with heroin, since well, you'd probably have pawned your computer by now for your next fix. You do know that heroin addiction never leaves your system right?

but... he could have been taking the shotgun to its case and you know how if you are high you can black out he could have dropped the gun like a sling kind of way and it could have went off and shot him while he was falling.... well god only knows what happened cause he was watching kurt that day or night for all we know it could have been an accident maybe not... and lloyd you wasnt there either. but listen i dont care what you think of this post.

Offensive? Report commentIt's true. No one really knows for sure what happened to Kurt Cobain in his final minutes, but I have been sufficiently convinced that he was murdered. If any of you want to take the time to read Tom Grant's mountains of evidence, you would see that, at the very least, it begs the question. The evidence, im my opinion, is overwhelming, but to others maybe not so much. It is a matter of personal opinion. Kurt Cobain did not attempt suicide the month before he died. That is just what they want you to think. The Rome incident WAS NOT a suicide attempt!
