Where in the world is Osama Bin Laden?

And this just in from Where In The World Is Osama Bin Laden?: Er, nobody knows where he is. To which you can only say—no s***, Spurlock.

Yep, Morgan Spurlock's resumed his ongoing quest to state the blinkin' obvious and has been trying to discover where Bin Laden's bin hidin' on a grand tour of the Middle East.

He visits Egypt, Morocco, Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan and Pakistan and gauges the true level of support for the al-Qaeda No1 by interviewing a refreshing mix of reasonable people and the occasional bloodthirsty lunatic.

The trip's intercut with jokey animations and comedy interludes which sketch in the political details. But for my money, the best bits are Spurlock shuffling around some pretty deadly neighbourhoods with a touristy grin plastered across his face as if he's presenting some kind of jihad special of the Holiday Programme.

A shade better than Super Size Me and catering to almost exactly the same audience (if you don't mind your documentaries having a fair amount of sugar and a breathtakingly obvious conclusion), this is well worth a go.

Me, I'm already looking forward to Spurlock's next projects: An in-depth investigation into the defecatory habits of bears and a searing exposé on the religious persuasion of the Pope.
