Sparks, Good Morning
THE mad Mael brothers scared Top Of The Pops fans in the mid-Seventies when Ron, complete with dodgy 'tache, stood stock still behind his keyboards on This Town Ain't Big Enough For Both Of Us.
They inspired synth duos like Soft Cell and The Pet Shop Boys and, incredibly, 30 years later they're still making brilliantly barmy mini-operas like this.
So ,is this the most annoying record ever or total genius?

Offensive? Report commentThe song is great...but if it's the most annoying, irritating thing you've heard that's good too!! Great how Sparks immediately polarise people and antagonise them. They've been around since 1968 (!!!) and STILL they make music that sounds new and reminds you why you liked music in the first place. There is no-one around to touch them.

Offensive? Report commentIncredibly brilliant tune from the greatest, most underrated pop band in the history of music! This song deserves huge radio support, so fingers crossed the U.K. will break it wide open. How many bands can write such electrifying and potent music after 21 albums and 40 years? Sparks has it all, beginning with classic tunes, great vocals, amazing wit, brilliant lyrics, an indelible persona and the ability to actually perform!
