Why did Posh shun champagne at birthday bash?

LOOKS like VICTORIA BECKHAM’s nickname really is PUSHY SPICE.

The Queen WAG has fuelled rumours that she is expecting hubby DAVID’s fourth tot by sticking to soft drinks at her birthday bash last week.

I can reveal that while other guests at the star-studded bash in LA—including Hollywood hunk TOM CRUISE, his wife KATIE HOLMES, and Sir ELTON JOHN—got stuck into the vintage champers, Posh steered clear.

And her booze ban—only tonic water and pineapple juice passed her lips at the swanky Via Veneto eaterie—got tongues wagging among party-goers.

One told me: “Victoria likes to party with the best of them, especially on her birthday.  So a champagne flute is no stranger to her hand.

"But she didn’t touch a drop, which leaves you wondering whether she’s already expecting her fourth child.”

David has just told a US TV chat show that he and Victoria wanted another brother or sister for their three young children, now the Spice Girls tour has finished.

He said: "We're working on it. We're very family orientated, so we've always wanted a big family, which was weird because when we first got together we never even discussed how many children we wanted.

"But it's worked out that we want a big family and we love kids so it's worked out perfect."

The couple, who have been married for nearly nine years, are already parents to three sons - Brooklyn, eight, Romeo, five, and Cruz, three.

Beckham, who has secured a series of lucrative commercial deals since moving to the US, recently appeared in an Armani campaign in which he is pictured in nothing but a pair of white pants.

Asked if he was comfortable naked, he said: "Around the house we are, yeah.

"When I was doing the Armani shoot, I was quite uncomfortable because I've never done a shoot before just in underwear."
