Britney Spears loses kids
Two weeks age the same judge, Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon, ordered Spears to undergo random drug testing and to hire a parenting coach after finding evidence of her "habitual, frequent and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol".
His latest order stated that K-Fed "is to retain physical custody of the minor children on Wednesday until further order of the court." He set another hearing for tomorrow (Wednesday).
The ruling came as Spears, whose recording career had been on hold since she married Federline three years ago, was returning to the pop charts with her new single "Gimme More."
The couple divorced in July and have since been embroiled in a bitter battle over custody.
Before this week, they had shared 50/50 custody of the boys, but Federline's lawyer, Mark Kaplan, told reporters in August that his client was seeking greater control of his sons to keep them "isolated from risks."
Since filing for divorce last November, Spears has made headlines with a steady stream of erratic behaviour - shaving her head before entering rehab, firing various staff and stripping down to her underwear for an impromptu ocean swim in front of photographers.
Earlier this month, her highly anticipated comeback appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards was widely panned as an embarrassing flop, though "Gimme More" has been climbing the radio charts.
But Britney's unhappy soap opera lifestyle could yet pay dividends. Since Thursday, the song, a single from her upcoming untitled album, has ranked as the most downloaded track in the iTunes online music store.
The song appears poised to break onto Billboard magazine's Hot 100 singles chart later this week with what could be Spears' highest ranking since her debut 1999 hit "... Baby One More Time."

Report commentI don't mean to be harsh but i think it's the best thing to remove the children from Britney, she is not capable of looking after two small children, she can't even manage herself! I think losing her children will be the push she needs to get herself sorted out, once and for all.If she won't do it for herself then she should do it for her childrens sake. No way does she love nor deserve her children, she demonstrates she doesnt love them by the way she comports herself.

Having worked with people suffering from mental health issues what strikes me is she has not been better guided by her people, instead the management who have creamed a nice profit now abandon the not so golden goose.
I am not a fan, but I feel for her situation, has the consideration been made for possible post natal depression - Rehab is not the answer she needs professional help and a decent friend by the sounds of things. Instead the vultures swoop to pick whats left of her unravelling life - love to build em up to watch em fall!!
