I would say there’s something wrong with this – but in fact EVERYTHING is wrong with it.
A 45-year-old running away with a 16-year-old schoolgirl is the stuff of parent’s nightmares and a disaster waiting to happen.
Of course she thinks she loves him and it’ll last forever. She’s 16. Who doesn’t think like that, at that age?
But he is old enough to know better – he has a daughter almost the same age as his new girlfriend.
It’s not romantic. It’s not pretty. And it’ll all end in tears. Her tears, that is.

Why is it all these 'men' who run away with these (usually troubled) teenagers are ALWAYS over 40 with several children and women behind them, balding, gappy toothed and NEVER working? What do they see in them?
He will ruin that girl's young life and move on.
I hope her mum is there when all this stupidity comes falling down on their heads and Lisa sees him for what he is - a waster.

Sadly, the harder you push them to split up the more closer they'll become.Only time will tell whether this relationship will work or not. Obviously he should know better than to get involved with someone so young. She has so much to look forward to in life, and hopefully will wake up to reality someday!

She`s 16 so legally this child and her "partner" can do as they please, but moraly this washed out waster should distance himself from her and send her home before any thing else happens ie.pregnancy- but this is New Labours vision of Britain, moraly corrupt and do as you please regardless of consequence.
If her 45 year "partner really loves her, he`ll let her go.

i think it is very wrong,if my 16 yr old daughter had ran of with a man that age i wouldnt stop till she was home.and thids man should have known beta from the start and stopped then and there.go back home lisa to a family that loves you,not someone who thinks they love you,because it will never work not in the long term.

I suddenly got to feel very sick at some things I read, it made me think of my daugter so her mother must be going through a pure nightmare, can only watch it happening but not able to stop it, yes it's awful.

Heard this type of story a thousand times and it allways ends up the same way.either she gets pregnant and he leaves her or they split up after the dreamy session is over and they start to work and pay the bills on those wet and windy days in the middle of winter.It should be made clear to him that if she has a baby he will be made to work to mantain the child and the mother..(forced labour)

well she is a silly little girl who needs to grow up - in my eyes lisa is a kid still and think its very wrong for this to be happening,he is just a dirty old man that will soon being going on to the next kid, she needs to do her exsams or she will muck up her life big time, i feel for her mum and dad and think if he had any sort of love for this child he would send her home to her mum all i can say is up the age limit on sex to 18 because she is still a KID
