| New Vodafone calls cost 6.6p a minute |
MOBILE giant Vodafone has announced the best value pay-as-you-go packages on the market—with the cheapest rates working out at just 6.6p a minute for calls.
And there’s no weasely higher rate for the first few minutes, or different rates according to network or landline—the rates apply across the board.
Called Freedom packs they come in bundles of texts and calls for £10, £15 and £20.
From Friday April 10 you can buy 300 texts and 100 minutes of calls for £10; 600 texts and 200 minutes for £15; and unlimited texts and 300 minutes for £20.
You can use existing credit to pay for the 30-day packs or a debit or credit card. The bundle is then available to use instantly.
The minutes can be used to call any network, all 01, 02 and 03 landlines and voicemail at any time of the day. No catches, no subscription.
Just call 2345 free from your mobile and follow the prompt to select the Pack you want.
You can check how many minutes and texts you have left in your Pack and get an update on your credit balance at anytime by calling 2345 free.
If all the texts and minutes in a Vodafone Freedom Pack are used before 30 days, you will pay your standard rate for calls and texts using TopUp.
There’s no rolling subscription so when a Pack finishes, you can choose what you want to do – grab another pack, or switch to Free Weekends to get free texts and/or calls each week, or Text Unlimited to get free texts each month.
