WIN Halo 3 and Limited Edition Xbox

WE’RE saying Halo to the game launch of the year with the best GIVEAWAY of the year.
To celebrate the third instalment of the Xbox smash, GADGiTS has lined up some mind-blowing prizes for News of the World readers. One winner gets a 42in Samsung TV worth £1,000, a limited edition Halo 3 Xbox 360 console worth £279.99, a Halo 3 game controller and a copy of the limited edition Halo game Halo3_2 worth £49.99. And TEN runners-up get the console plus the limited edition game. Halo 3 is out on Wednesday and already orders for the Microsoft title have smashed the million mark in America. GADGiTS had a sneak preview of Halo3_ltd the first-person shooter which builds on the previous two games at Microsoft’s gaming studio in South London. And the graphics by developers Bungie are awesome in detail as you follow Master Chief and his struggle against the Covenant and the Flood. The gameplay has been tweaked to change the balance of weapons and objects. And up to 16 players can compete against each other via Xbox Live in teams of eight. The new iPod Touch was unveiled by Apple's technical wizards last night and looks set to be the next must-have gadget.

With a 3.5inch touch-sensitive screen, the gizmo marks a revolutionary shift for the iconic music player.

Users simply touch the screen to play music, watch videos or surf the web. No wonder the Apple bosses are calling this the "seventh wonder of the world".

It goes on sale later this month at £269 for a 1GB version and £199 pounds for the 8GB model.

The quality of video shot on some mobiles is now so good that bands are keen to get hold of it to add to their websites.  Maroon 5 guitarist James Valentine revealed that he uses his Nokia phone as a personal video diary of the band’s tours. “I’m always making little movies on my N95,” he said at the Ministry of Sound in South London. “I’d love to see stuff that the fans have shot on their phones. If it’s good enough, we could even use it.”

Alongside the introduction of Ovi, the door to Nokia’s new Internet services, Nokia this week unveiled three other new mobile devices, apart from the N81.They are all designed for entertainment, music and games. Each device offers dedicated music or gaming keys, expanded memory, large screens and extended battery performance to provide quick and easy access to entertainment content.
The devices range in price from £152 to £378 and are expected to be in the shops in time for Christmas.
