Who ever designed this console should be givin a pat on the back for this one i mean seriosly, it kicks Ps3 ass anyday of the week and with the ability to download new things for it the possibilities are endless. Also with the amount of new games that are available now and others that are due to come out are no match for the playstation games such as bioshock, army of 2 etc

I would sell my soul for this console and it would be well worth it. Im now 16 and plan to go into game design so it would be fantasitic if i would be able to design games and play them on this console as this is the king of console.

A number of readers appear to be under the misapprehension that the Elite "kicks the PS3's ass". Not so I'm afraid. The Elite does have a larger hard drive, but the PS3 has had downloadable content - game and movie demos, as well as the ability to buy full games since day one. It has a built in WI-FI adaptor (not so the Elite - this has to be purchased separately for another £60), and a built in web browser. More importantly, just to get online with the Elite, you have to buy an annual subscription to XBOX Live. The PS3's online content is all totally free.

i agree with andi, you have to fork out an awful lot of cash after purchasng (or if your lucky enough winning) the xbox 360 elite to bring it up to the standards of a ps3, also no hd dvd drive included as standard (an extra £200 roughly), me thinks microsoft missed a trick here, still thats not to say i wouldn't enjoy owning one as halo 3 does look quite good
