hello I started this diet 3 days ago , I find it easy to follow and cook and do not feel hungry at all, in fact it's more food than i usually eat for lunch but the difference is it is a balanced meal instead of the usual crisp, and a samdwich which i have most days. I will keep you posted on the weight at the end of my first week GOOD LUCK TO ALL WHO TRY IT
This looks like an ideal solution, but not for me as some of the food items suggested I just don't like. It is a shame as since having my hysterectomy nearly five years ago the weight has piled on, and I was only 40 and a size 10, now I'm a size 14/16. I'll just have to keep on trying!!!! Good luck to everyone else though.
I am 50 next month and due to an illness I have put on at least 2 stone due to the medication. I have lost my waist it has emerged with my hips and clothes just look revolting I am young at heart and hate to look frumpy in baggy clothes so this diet which has a lot of the ingrediants I like hopefully will help me look good when we go away next month. Fingers xsd
I am definitely going to try this as the recipes are so easy to use I want to lose four stone in the next 7-8 months I'll be doing this with my mum if I lose more I'll be happy thanks anna and fabulous and good luck to all the people who are doing the meal plan or are thinking of doing it! Happy new year! x
I have tried everything over last few years and have lost 3 stone on weight watchers, I have plateaued and cannot lose the last stone. I am going to try this diet, but I am so strict now and count everything and write down everything, please help me!!!!! I am stuck in neutral
I agree with Anna that reducing your calorie intake is the way to go.
I am quite curvy but am now shrinking - I was a 14, now a 10/12. Calorie counting is the only thing that has started to work for me and I wish I had known that a few years ago rather than waste time with fad diets.
I have lost about a stone since October through calorie counting, recording all that I have eaten and drunk and the exercise I have done.
It is worth trying an online food diary service as this makes it so much easier to calorie count. You could try Tesco Diets or a free one called Purple Weight Loss. I have also found one called Fitness Journal. Alternatively, pen and paper can work as long as you don't lose it.
I'm aiming to be a size 8 by summer and will check back to see how Anna is doing before then.
It is really hard losing weight. I went from 13 stone to 8 stone though over about 18 months and have kept it off for 2 years so far. Its not about silly diets it is about changing the way you eat for good. Write down everything you eat and then once you see what you eat you can start making small changes. Things like swapping to skimmed milk, cutting out that last biscuit. Small changes make a big difference and it also means you dont have to cut out any of the foods you love.
Iam 52 and the dr put me on hrt since then i have gained weight i was arround 10 stone now i am nearly 12 when i saw the dietishian at the drs she said not to worry as when my bmi reaches 29 they will give me the alli pills im now worried as my weight is all around my middle and they dont seam concerned please help
