Rachel versus Mikey!

I didn't expect that. Mikey Magoo versus the Welsh bubblebutt. And there's an hour left to vote.

Darnell, predictably came fifth, Rex fourth, and Sara third. But Darnell secured 14.9 % of the vote, which is outstanding for the one coming fifth. Mo and Kat got less than 7% between them, remember. But the shock, and there's always one on final night, dare I say it, anticlimax, is Rex coming fourth.

But he got 22.5%, which again is dazzling for fourth. Do the maths, guys. If four people got at least 22.5% there's only ten percent left to play with. That is close.

So what's the moral of Darnell and Rex doing so badly? Never be nasty to girls. The voters, rightly, won't tolerate it.

He's been a great BB villain, surpassing Nasty Nick, Mario and even the magnificent Victor, but it won't get you anywhere if you want to win. There's a thin line between banter and picking on people, and Rex crossed the line too many times.

He was really annoyed, wasn't he? Why? Because fourth is nowhere, or because he got beaten by the girls, I imagine.

Darnell was typically self-effacing and hopeless in the interview, I thought, but charming with it. I liked the skirt, though. Outdoor interviews aren't a good idea at the best of times, and Darnell just went into his shell.

Rex meanwhile was defiantly Rex, claiming to love winding people up, and warning people not to take it too seriously. He's right. It is only a gameshow.

He also loves his Dad even more than he loves himself, which is a relief, I guess. "I love you" he told Darnell when Darnell left. "I love you" the albino replied. Kind of touching. Now he's back with Nicole. It must be odd, though, to see Stephanie again. Twelve weeks since he saw. He must have forgotten what she looked like.

Sara got 30.1%, when there was a bigger gap when the phone lines re-opened. Between Rex and Darnell there was all of a minute, but this was longer. Still, it's close.

So, Mikey versus Rachel. I've no idea who'll win. I've been backing Rachel from day one. In my very first post I plumped for her, and I announced it officially two weeks ago. So I'm not backing down now, and I'd love it if it happens. But I won't believe it till I see it.
