The Heatwave is over

And so is the hatewave.

Sree's going acted like a valve being released. Suddenly the tension that had been welling up since the very first night splashed out like someone had kicked the tap fully open. It started, as ever, with Freddie. When someone goes the usual procedure is for those sitting on the chairs, waiting to be told by BB that they can go now, is to say nice things about the evictee.

Well, they all had their turn, then Freddie ripped in, damning him conclusively. Typical Freddie, really. Always saying what he thinks, saying what he thinks EVERYBODY thinks, oblivious to the fact that others might disagree with him.

KRISSREE

No wonder they keep nominating him. It's like the continuous questions to those who don't like him, why don't you like me? It's the one thing they don't want to answer.

Still, it relaxed them all. As did the ciders. ( How do they all get drunk so quickly? Is it the lack of food? ) And it led to an interesting night. Freddie made a play for Charlie, Charlie, not wanting to offend anyone didn't turn him down. Then Marcus made a play for Noirin. She, politely, turned him down. I hope he doesn't turn into Sree now. That would be a disappointment.

Marcus then punched Kris in the chest. In doing so he spoke for Britain.

Punch

Not a great night for Kris all told. Freddie stays, and he gets hit in the stomach. Yet the one who suffered the most after Sree went was Charlie. He's pretty popular in the house, and still considered by the others to be the favourite, but stealing drinks is always a bad plan. Marcus took it remarkably well, but Rodrigo, who'd been bearing the brunt of Charlie's pranks all day, finally had enough, and got up on his high horse, as he is prone to do.

They made up later ( don't they always? ) but it will have got the others' ears pricked up.

Of course, Kris was in on it too - hence the punch - but he didn't argue about it. At any rate, we are in for some seriously interesting nominations tomorrow. About three days ago I was assuming Freddie was bound to be up. Then I thought perhaps, and with his sudden change of fortunes, maybe they'll give him a rest for once. Maybe Fred would turn the tables and it could even be Kris and Lisa battling it out.

But Lisa's a smart cookie, and has taken a step back out of the limelight. Kris is also lying low. He's annoyed and sulking about Sree, but he's got Sophie and Karly as backup. But Rodrigo and even Charlie are suddenly making themselves available as potential targets.

Fascinating. And no one's missing Sree. That much could be predicted.
