Kristy the clown

That was a fun show last night, wasn't it?

Well it might have been, if we'd actually seen it. Too many adverts, too many cuts, Charlie unicycling - twice!  and then the whole thing came to a grinding halt.

Action-packed, it was.

Still, amid all the confusion, we have learned two things. 1, it doesn't really matter who started it. 2. Noirin made a huge mistake.

Although we'll probably never know who first called Noirin a "bunny", it doesn't actually matter.

My sources tell me it may well have been Queen Bee Lisa herself.

Siavash even asked Noirin if she really wanted to take on Lisa, and the shaven-headed brummie was maintaining a dignified and uncharacteristic silence throughout the argument.

But so what? It's like asking who first said Sophie might go because she was quiet. Kris completely denied it.

Marcus wasn't quite so certain but blamed Kris. Actually, and I played back the recording - I did quite a lot of that last night what with all the broadcast problems - and they both said it.

The point is, saying Sophie might go because she's quiet, and that Noirin flits from group to group like a bunny rabbit are both perfectly reasonable things to say.

It's just that both Sophie and Noirin wanted to make something of it.

Things calmed down with Sophie, because everybody knew that she was basically worrying about Kris. Could she trust him?

But Noirin had no such defence. She and Siavash are hardly best friends. She promised to keep it quiet. Instead she went and told everyone.

Remember Angel and the washing-up? When Noirin's annoyed she makes sure everyone knows it. She must have thought it would get the Lisa Crew onside. She was one of them, and the time had come to pick off the weirdoes and freaks.

Backfire! Lisa certainly won't trust her. Karly and Sophie won't take kindly to being confronted by someone who isn't one of them.

Siavash may well be up for eviction next week as punishment for talking about nominations. The question is, will Noirin join him? Fred and Siavash are dead certs, Marcus is doubtful.

And Freddie may well get a free pass once he survives tonight.

Anyway, it's Kris's last night. I know a lot of people are expecting shock and awe from a group of stunned faces. But I don't think his will be one of them.

And this is the basic Trouble with Kris. He's too calm. If he got a bit upset every now and again, and showed some emotion, he might be a more interesting contestant.

He doesn't seem all the excited about Sophie, and if she were to go I don't suppose he'd shed a tear.

I'm not saying he doesn't care. He's just too dry, upbeat, and indifferent. So long as he's got his mates, he's happy. Fair enough for him, not much fun for us.

Compare him to Maxwell, Sezer, or Bubble. All of them got involved. Kris has a monotone voice, and monotone facial expressions.

Even his hostility to Fred has just been a low level contempt rather than something that got him sweating.

The final straw was when he refused to talk it over with Fred. What kind of a housemate is he if he avoids confrontation? What kind of person is he who won't even tell someone who is clearly upset why he finds him annoying?

So, it's a good thing he's going.

The really intriguing reactions will be Charlie's. First he'll be relieved he's staying. T

hen, about three seconds later, it will dawn on him that his best mate is going. Sophie will cry, Karly and Lisa will be horrified. They'll go off to the bus stop for a good smoke and moan.

But what will Noirin do? Join them, or cuddle up to Marcus?
