Is Karly up for eviction?

The Sun for once, doesn't have full news on who's been nominated.

It does tell us that, unsurprisingly, both Sophie and Siavash are up. As I suggested yesterday, they were both given time tests as punishments for breaking the rules about discussing nominations. They had until three o'clock to go without swearing. Two hours in, Sophie swore, and when Siavash found out he swore too! What a gent.

The big story, though, found on this usually reliable site, is that two others are up: Noirin and Karly. Karly?

Yesterday I said I thought it would be Noirin and Marcus. Noirin is no surprise. Her big Rabbitgate row with Siavash was a spectacular misfire, antagonising the individuals and suddenly putting herself in the firing line of the sheep, who would otherwise have left her alone. And she's spending so much time with Marcus getting her back painted, with little attempt to build bridges. But Karly, not Marcus. How did that happen?

Well, the story doesn't tell us who voted for whom, but I think the only way this can have happened is for it to have been another side-effect of Rabbitgate. The allegation then was that Kris and Karly had said that Noirin hopped from group to group like a bunny. Kris is gone, which leaves Karly as sole survivor. Has she been picked on by the individuals? Neither Lisa, Charlie, Sophie will have nominated her, that's pretty much a done deal.

I suppose what's amazing is that the individuals, if they are starting to vote collectively, didn't go for Lisa instead. Marcus himself labelled Karly a "little ball of hate", and Freddie dismissed her as doing Lisa's bidding. He actually seems to respect Lisa more for being the boss of things. It's harder to respect someone who is merely an underling. Plus, who else would Freddie have nominated? Karly and Lisa are his obvious targets.

Siavash would have been more likely to pick Karly than Lisa, I suppose. Again, that's a reaction to Rabbitgate. If Noirin hadn't made such a big deal of it he might have spent it elsewhere, but she made the two of them enemies, and he has to watch his back. And Rodrigo? Who knows. It's always tactical with him.

So, Karly. If anything can save Noirin this week it has to be this. Just like Kris, Karly is pretty popular within the house, but pretty unpopular outside. And, like Kris, she has only previously had one nomination. That was in the very first week, and came from.... you guessed it, Lisa.

Things have moved on since then. I actually quite liked her at first. I liked her accent, and her demented rants in the diary room were pretty funny. She's gotta have something going for her, given that - until now - she only had the one nomination, but we never really see it. Even Lisa likes a sing song. Karly just mopes around. She isn't miserable or depressed, but she's hardly a ray of sunshine either. All she ever does on the highlights show is skulk around with Lisa at the bus stop slagging Freddie off, or telling Sophie how much Kris has changed from his early womanising self.

She is fairly straight with people, and if she doesn't like someone she makes it fairly plain. But she isn't exactly an amazing housemate, is she?

Anyway, that's the rumour. There's another rumour saying that Nasty Nick has pulled out of doing today's task. Rumours, rumours, rumours. Just gimme some truth!
