Get Kris Out!
Kris? Up for eviction?
The man who has only once previously been nominated? The much-loved banter-addicted Freddie-hater, whose fun-loving antics and Brokeback Mountaineering pranks and cider-stealing japes with Charlie have got the metrosexuals of this world billing and cooing, and whose love affair with Sophie has touched the nations' heart?
Now, out of nowhere Kris is up for eviction? Say it ain't so, Sonny Jim.
Well, yes, the goon is up. Because, and I say this with a heavy heart, I'm afraid our Kris has gone and done that most fiendish of deeds for which the only other punishment is eviction on the spot. Nope, it isn't a race row, and he hasn't been caught spitting. Kris has been discussing nominations.
It's a complicated story. As we all know, they nominate in alphabetical order. Charlie, therefore, was first to go, and was allowed to nominate in the usual way. Afterwards, though, a discussion he had with Lisa ( which was shown on last night's show ) was read out in which he heavily implied he'd be picking Rodrigo. As punishment, Charlie was told that if he spoke before midnight, he'd be up for eviction.
The nominations continued, and the result was Freddie v Marcus. Which means, goodbye Marcus. But then Charlie went and spoke, which made it Charlie v Freddie v Marcus. Goodbye Charlie.
However... later on, both Sophie and Kris were called in, and told the same thing. They too - and we haven't seen this footage yet - had been discussing nominations. They too were told that if they spoke in the next four hours, they'd automatically be up.
Speak they did.
Excellent! Time to get rid of Kris, then. There's no doubt about it, is there? Watching the two lovebirds cuddling up each night is enough to give anyone nightmares, and Kris is far too popular within the house. If he doesn't go know he could actually still be there in the last week. Outside he's considered arrogant and charmless, but inside they like him. I guess it's because he's actually pretty calm. Even his contempt for Fred, while consistent, is kind of mellow. You never really see Kris getting upset about anything. Living in the BB house, this must count for a lot.
But from our point of view he's a right royal pain. He's like Dale from last year, but without the modesty and charm. I don't really know why they picked him. Unless that's the reason. Let's pick a good-looking pretty boy to get the girls going. But we'll make sure he isn't very nice, just so he can't win.
Charlie's more intriguing. Without his best buddy, he'll interact more. He's also got these weird flirt things going with Freddie and Rodrigo, and these must continue.
Sophie's more fun without the hairy cornflake as well. She's dopy but harmless, and at least has a nice smile. And big boobs.
Freddie? He's going nowhere. Marcus? They'll be a bit narked about how he stood up to them when he was given his formal warning last week, but he's just been rejected by Noirin, so watching him react to that is worth a week more in the house at the very least.
I can't wait to see how serious the Sophie Kris conversation was. This will tell us if this is really about them breaking the rule, or if it's more a question of BB wanting to save Charlie. The Sun hasn't told us everything. They say that Sophie, Kris, and Charlie are up, but they haven't said if Marcus and Freddie are as well. BB could theoretically cancel the nominations altogether, and try and cook the books to make sure those two are definitely safe. Then again, do they need to?
On Friday, Kris is going to leave. It's going to be like Sezer all over again.
